Samuel is originally from Beijing, China.  With a bachelor's degree in Economics from University of California, Berkeley, he also studied Economic History at London School of Economics and Political Science and Financial Analysis at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.  An instructor for the Court Interpreters Program at University of California, Los Angeles Extension Program, he has interpreted for various ITC cases (including some of the ones that received a fair amount of publicity), company executives (such as Jeffrey Katzenberg of DreamWorks Animation, Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group, Jim Murren of MGM, etc.), as well as corporate events (simultaneous interpretation).  Aside from medical related translations and interpretations for pharmaceutical companies (such as Johnson & Johnson), he had the rare opportunity to interpret for one of the unique medical intuitives in Los Angeles.
