With many options, be it online translation tools such as Google Translate, a dictionary, a professional Chinese translator, phone interpretation services, or a live person, which one should you choose? Among many of the Chinese translation service providers and Chinese translators, how to choose the best ones?  Here are some of the things you might wish to consider when making choices.

1. Does the Chinese Translation Company Offer Certified Chinese Translation Services? Do They Keep the Documents Confidential?

Chinese translator in Los AngelesThere is a significant difference between certified translation and non-certified translation.  For example, in the State of California, court certified interpreters have to go through a rigorous examination process in which their English skills, foreign language skills, and their translation and interpretation skills are all thoroughly tested.  In the written examination portion, the passing rate is 50%.  For those who passed the written exam, 5% or 10% of them pass the oral exam.  Therefore, in general, about 2.5% to 5% of the exam takers become certified.  Some people jokingly say that the court interpretation exam is more difficult than the bar exam for attorneys.  Indeed, at least in California, there are far more attorneys than certified court interpreters.

We offer translation and interpretation services by certified court interpreters.  Our translators and interpreters will keep your documents or content of the business meetings strictly confidential.  Please see our Team of Chinese Translators and Interpreters. 2. Does the Chinese Translation Service Provider Cater to Your Ultimate Needs, Not Only Providing Translation Services but also Marketing and PR Services as Well?

Certified Chinese Translator - Samuel ChongA good Chinese translation service provider caters to the ultimate needs of their clients.  Having materials translated into Chinese languages is just a means to an end.  A good Chinese translation service provider will also provide marketing and PR services whenever possible.

We have, upon approval of our clients, written articles about the products or services provided by them.  We have written about tax attorneys, fruit companies, mattress machine makers, sugar cane paper companies, etc. All of the articles have appeared on Google News.  We also try our best to refer businesses to them whenever possible. 3. Is the Chinese Translation Service Provider Flexible with Its Rates and is Willing to Work with Your Budget?

A good Chinese translation service provider not only understands your needs but your budget limits.  The owners of the Chinese translation company should understand that the financially needy also needs to be served, and served well.

For Abacus Chinese Translation Services, after we give you our quote, you are welcome to give us your counter offer, and let us know of your budget, or other offers that you received.  We will either match their price (and provide more professional services) or even give you a lower price.

4. Has the Chinese Translation Service Provider Worked with Some of the Largest Companies in the World?

It would be more credible for a Chinese translation service provider if it has worked with some of the largest companies in the world.

We and our translators and interpreters have worked some of the largest companies and government agencies in the world.  The list includes Citibank, Microsoft, Google, Hilton, etc..  Please see the left hand side of http://www.certifiedchinesetranslation.com/ for a partial list of companies that we have worked for before.

5. Does the Chinese Translation Company Provide Nationwide Services 24 Hours A Day as well as Chinese Translation Services Internationally?

6. Does the Chinese Translation Company Treat Its Translators and Interpreters Nicely?

Happy employees and satisfied independent contractors provide high quality works for the company's clients.

We provide benefits to our Chinese translators and interpreters that other companies might not necessary provide.  Please see Benefits and Perks of Joining Our Chinese Translation Agency
